although this might light, a profusion of dusty glitter, one might almost say, was very bright near the ceiling, as it sank lower it looked as if it were being absorbed by the walls and the deeper reaches of the room, as if it merely added to the gloom...

today we announce assignment 5 of scattered light.
"A photograph of light or shadow falling on a room"
scattered light is our ongoing participatory photography project.
conceived by asdf (david horvitz + mylinh trieu nguyen) for rolu.
all you have to do is follow the directions and send us photos.
all assignments are open calls for photographic responses. these calls will remain open until scattered light the exhibit at art of this in mpls comes down on june 12.
