I started hanging blank white canvasses: “okay, so imagine that this is a so & so painting or something.” There's an idea here about legibility at the cost of legibility, & I want people to understand it if they're there in person or it's on the internet.

this has really stayed with me. especially the ideas discussed in this interview. i wish the sound files worked on my computer but, they don't.
was glad to see it pop up again on contemporary art daily.
