rolu is super excited that our friend david peterson is opening a new gallery!
The exhibition Make Hay presents six distinctive approaches to recontextualizing images, objects and language. Working through their own personal histories, alter egos and/or idiosyncratic processes, the works of Make Hay present a dialogue related to the navigation of contemporary culture, both personally and collectively. With drawing, painting, photography and sculpture, the artists of Make Hay, as the title suggests, take advantage of the limitless possibilities at their disposal to disrupt accepted meanings and bring about new ones.
david, along with john marks, ran the awesome minneapolis gallery art of this. they were early rolu supporters and showed scattered light the project mylinh trieu nguyen and david horvitz did as asdf for rolu. we'll always be grateful for that and they were fantastic to work with. congrats david!
please enjoy the time while it passes.
